Purpose-Built Outdoor Living
A compact Kimberley lot transformed into distinct spaces for gathering, movement, and play.
The transformation
Designed for this place.
Tucked into a standard lot in Kimberley, this project proves that thoughtful design can make every inch count. The front yard features a Barkman Architextures fireplace in Flint with a natural gas insert, surrounded by Belgard pavers in Tofino Grey and a striking mix of river rock and black lava ground cover.
In the back, an engineered retaining wall creates space for a putting green, yoga zone, and Aquascapes water feature—anchored by Belgard Artforms stepping stones and framed with a cedar privacy screen and black ornamental fencing. Designed for ease, planted for low maintenance, and built to be enjoyed.

In the client’s words
A landscape made to last.
We highly recommend Canadian Rockies Landscaping Corporation. Our home was a new construction and we really didn’t have a clear vision of what we wanted our finished yard to look like. Darren and Jennifer spent time with us and listened to the ideas we had. They put their creative talent to work and followed up with a final design that met all of our expectations and more.
Their team was punctual, professional, and thorough. Our property had some complexity including a significant retaining wall and, due to bylaws, there were some issues. These were dealt with to our complete satisfaction. The project carried on into winter but was completed on time within the budget that they projected.
Throughout the work, they kept us up to date at all times, sending photos and video. We receive many compliments from people who pass by our yard and we happily tell them who completed our work. We would most definitely use their services again!
