Round About Water Feature
A 100-foot natural rock wall and three cascading urns turn a driveway roundabout into a destination.
The transformation
Designed for this place.
Designing with intention means finding beauty and purpose in places that might otherwise be passed by. This project features a 100-foot natural rock retaining wall and a roundabout water feature garden that commands attention from every angle.
At its heart, three sizes of Aquascape Stacked Slate Urns create cascading movement and sound, enhanced by landscape lighting for day-to-night enjoyment. With natural stone and plantings that blend seamlessly into the surrounding forest, this design delivers a timeless focal point that feels both grounded and striking.

In the client’s words
A landscape made to last.
Our home is on an acreage with an abundance of trees and lots of space. We wanted to enhance the appearance of our home with rock and greenery that would complement the appearance of the house and property, but we had no idea or vision of where to start. That’s when we called Darren and Jennifer at CRL to develop an overall plan and build the project.
To accomplish what we wanted, we decided to do this project in phases. First, Darren proposed a complete re-imaging of the home’s front yard using rock, raised flower beds and a gorgeous rock staircase beside the house that changed the overall appearance of our home. The rock landscaping ties in with the rock finishing on the house.
Secondly, we also needed more parking area in front of our garage, so the CRL team built a beautiful rock wall and staircase adjacent to the forest and trees. This provided a larger and grander entrance into the home’s front parking and garage area.
The rock wall also provided more space to add the third phase of the project, which was an amazing water feature in the center of our driveway that includes three bubbling urns, a tree and shrubbery. Jennifer did an amazing job of selecting the right rocks, shrubs, plants and trees to make this water feature a stunning entrance to our home.
The finished project is impactful and beautiful. From start to finish, the CRL team was professional, knowledgeable and truly dedicated to creating the outdoor oasis of our dreams. Darren and Jennifer’s attention to detail and creativity was truly impressive and completely transformed our home and yard. We couldn’t be happier with the results.
